The first thing we see, before the title sequence is the production company ident. For example warner bros, universal, or river film. After the production company we usually see the name of the main character followed by the title of the movie, an example could be "Liam Neeson in, TAKEN". The main title of the movie is usually written in bald writing, for it to stand out. Another reason it could be written in bold is to emphasize something in the movie, for example "TAKEN" emphasizes the fact that a girl will be kidnapped. Also the film title usually stays on the screen for a longer period of time than other titles. After the main character, and the film title, then the producer/director etc comes after that. However in some movies, where the director really famous for making successful movies, his/her name will be written before the main character, for example "A DAVID FICNHER FILM" could be written before the main characters name.
This is the order in which the title credits are shown in the movie "gone girl":
"A DAVID FICNHER FILM" 0:26
"BEN AFFLECK" 0:52
"ROSUMAND PIKE" 0:55
"GONE GIRL" 0:58
NEIL PATRICK HARRIS" 1:02
"TYLER PERRY" 1:04
"CARIE COON" 1:06
"KIM DICKENS, PATRICK FUGIT" 1:08
"DAVID CLENNONS, LISA BANES" 1:10
"CASTING BY, LARRY MAYFIELD" 1:12
"SOUND BY KEN KLYCE" 1:15
"MUSIC BY TRENT REZNOR" 1:16
