PLANNING- Outline for title sequence

For our title sequence we decided for the genre to be a Thriller-Horror but more towards the thriller side. This is because we wanted the opening to seem more tense with more excitement. We wanted this effect in order for the audience to want to know what would happen next with a sense of foreboding. It would also keep the audience interested to keep on watching.                                                                                                                                            Our initial plot/storyline ideas were based on a serial killer having a strange obsession within kidnapping young teenage girls. So our idea was to first to show where the killer lives (his bedroom) with pictures of eliminated girls then the picture of the main girl that is going to be killed. And because he has an obsession of stalking these girls we will seem him typing up her name on Facebook to see where she will be. There then be a shot of a different location of where there is a party and the main character which is a young teenage girl is checking her phone which reveals worrying texts from her mother and multiple miss calls showing that is somewhere where she is not supposed to be. This leads on to the girl deciding to leave and go home. There is then a cut in shots where the killer is getting ready by wiping his knife showing that there will be violence. The end shot will then be the killer putting his hand on the victims shoulder to show that he's caught his target easily. The social groups that would be introduced would be mostly working class as it would be based in a urban area.
