There were positive and negative points during this activity. One of the positive points is the fact that everyone worked well together in our group, also everyone put in their individual efforts and skills into producing the prelim. There were many effective camera shots used in the making of this short film. For example at the beginning of the prelim, in the very first scene, a long shot was used. The reason this was effective is because it allows the person watching to get a full picture of the setting involved, and maybe this foreshadows the oncoming events. There was also a close up "cu" and maybe even an extreme closeup "ecu" used. This was used at the moment that the character was angry, the reason for the closeup was to emphasis the character emotions. Also there was a cross cut shown between the 50 pound note and the characters face.
However, there were some negative points during the making of the prelim. One negative point was that the camera wasn't as still as we wanted it to be. From time to time the camera would shake, and you would get the feeling we were using a handheld camera, this is not a message we wanted to get across. The handheld camera is usually used during suspense scenes, or chase scenes, so it was not used effectively. Another very important factor was that we had the camera on dim mode which meant the film was very dark
